While Julie’s extensive background includes diverse experience across the hospitality and commercial architectural industries, her true passion and the cornerstone of her practice is her distinguished single-family residential portfolio.

A Bespoke, Site-Specific Process

Julie believes that an authentic home cannot be replicated; it must be born from its environment and its inhabitants. Her process begins by intimately learning about her clients—their lifestyles, stories, and aspirations—as well as the unique natural context of the site itself. By marrying the nuances of the land with the vision of the client, Julie generates entirely unique designs. The result is a harmonious, balanced environment where clients feel instantly at peace, living in the exact home they had always envisioned.

From her collaborative studio at the Santa Monica Airport, Julie leads a dedicated team of professionals, working alongside architect Tomas Portugues and trusted specialists. She personally oversees every residential project from the ground up, ranging from thoughtful historic restorations and renovations to custom modern estates. Her residential footprint spans Southern California’s premier Westside and coastal neighborhoods—including Bel-Air, Malibu, Pacific Palisades, and Santa Monica—as well as select coastal properties on the East Coast.
